She is a strategic business driver with experience managing large businesses and a motivational leader with strong communications skills. Aru has the proven ability to deliver results working at some of the biggest companies in the business from Liz Claiborne to Ralph Lauren.
Aru is President Womenswear, North America Wholesale Ralph Lauren, with a focus on elevating the brand, driving sustainable profitable growth and optimizing talent. In her current role, she leads all aspects of business strategy to deliver against the company’s key strategies. She manages key retailer relationships and develops long range business plans to deliver results. Aru is on the Global Leadership Team and also serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Board as the Executive Sponsor of the Asian and Pacific Islander Advisory Group.
Previously, Aru was the Global Brand President for Chaps, a Ralph Lauren brand. Aru’s prior roles have included President Better Sportswear Group, Jones New York, and as the Chief Customer Officer, Liz Brand, Liz Claiborne. Aru is the proud mom of two amazing young adults and lives in New Jersey with her husband Amol.
