Julie J. Chung serves as the North America Chief Operating Officer for the Fixed Income Desk Strategists (Strats/Quants) at Morgan Stanley. She became a Co-Chair of the Morgan Stanley's Firm-wide Asian Employee Network in 2020 and currently serves as the sole Chair of a network with over four thousand member. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she led an oil valuation team at JP Morgan and a Structured Power and Gas Product Control group at Credit Suisse. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where she received a full scholarship. In addition, she is a Steering Committee member of the Bill and Melinda Gates Alumni Association (NY Chapter) and is a Certified Public Accountant. Julie resides in Manhattan with her husband Peter and their daughter Audrey, and is passionate about creating a society that embraces diversity and inclusion for the future generation.
