Yvonne Hao

Yvonne is the first person in her family to be born in the US. Yvonne and her brother grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She was one of the first classes to graduate from the Illinois Math & Science Academy, a publicly funded magnet boarding school where she also met her husband. She then went to Williams College, where she graduated with a BA with honors in economics and Asian studies, summa cum laude and phi beta kappa. While at Williams, she was the President of the Chinese-American Students’ Organization, and a lightweight rower. She received the Herschel Smith Fellowship, and earned her M.Phil in Development Economics at Cambridge University in England.

Her business career started at McKinsey & Company, where she worked for 5 years and was promoted to Associate Partner. One of her projects was Vital Voices, a nonprofit started by Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton, aimed at connecting women leaders globally. Her other previous roles include Honeywell and Bain Capital. She joined startup Pillpack as COO and CFO. From there, Yvonne joined Cove Hill Partners as a Managing Director and Co-Founder. Yvonne serves on the Board of Gentherm and is Vice Chair of the Board at Beth Israel Lahey Health.
