Wenqi Wang leads the Regulatory Accounting and Filings department at Consolidated Edison, a critical role he has held for a decade. Alongside his co-lead, he directs a team that develops utility rate proposals and provides expert testimony before the New York State Public Service Commission, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Wenqi joined Con Edison in 1999 through its Management Intern Program, progressing steadily within finance. Known for his calm demeanor and technical expertise, his collaborative approach has contributed to numerous successful rate settlements. He advises the organization on cost recovery, financial analysis, and the regulatory implications of new initiatives. 

He previously led the General Accounts department, overseeing monthly closing and financial statement compilation.Dedicated to community and mentorship, Wenqi has led annual Lunar New Year celebration for nearly two decades, highlighting Con Edison’s relationship with the local AAPI community. He also mentors associates through the company's Growth Opportunities for Leadership Development program.
