Mr. Uppuluri is Co-Head of PV Technology within Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and

Advisory Services practice, where he leads the development of automated valuation and

delivery solutions, enabling clients to gain deeper insights into their portfolios. He provides

valuations and advisory services to retail-focused investment vehicles, including interval

funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and other permanent capital vehicles that offer daily

or monthly subscriptions and redemptions. Mr. Uppuluri’s primary area of specialization is

in secondaries, across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate. He

brings more than two decades of experience in structured products, whole loan pools, and

asset-backed securities.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Uppuluri served as Chief Risk Officer at several FinTech

startups. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles, including Managing Director of

Structured Finance Portfolio Management and member of the board of directors (Risk

Committee) at MBIA Insurance. Mr. Uppuluri also served as Director and Ratings Chair

within the Structured Finance division of Standard & Poor’s.

Mr. Uppuluri holds a B.Eng. from Osmania University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering

from Penn State University, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia

Business School.
