Dr. Peter Lin is the Founder of Gamma Paradigm Capital and currently serves as Chairman of Gamma Paradigm Advisory in Taiwan and Chairman of Gamma Paradigm Quantitative, which is listed on the Taipei Exchange GISA Board.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Financial Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University and an Adjunct Professor at the College of International Finance of National Chengchi University. Gamma Paradigm operates at the intersection of capital, technology, and global markets, connecting investment managers with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional capital across the United States and Asia. Its research arm designs institutional-grade frameworks by integrating advanced financial engineering technologies.
Previously, Dr. Lin was the youngest full-time Industry Professor of Financial Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, leading the Master’s Program in Financial Data Science. His prior market experience includes managing over $5B in assets at Ryan Labs Asset Management, as well as holding roles at Deutsche Bank and Taiwan Industrial Bank.
Dr. Lin holds degrees in Computer Science from National Taiwan University and Columbia University, and earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. In 2021, he was named one of Taiwan’s Top Ten Outstanding Overseas Young Persons.
