Manu Sabharwal is a senior finance and tax executive whose career reflects sustained leadership, measurable business impact, and service to the profession. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Maine in 1997 and later received a Master of Science in Taxation from Arizona State University. 

A licensed Certified Public Accountant, he has built a distinguished career across public accounting and industry, including more than 20 years at General Dynamics, where he led tax functions for major business segments before serving at corporate headquarters as Executive Tax Director with responsibility for tax planning, compliance, and systems. 

Since joining MKS Inc. in 2022 as Vice President of Global Tax and Treasury and Treasurer, Manu has helped strengthen the company’s financial position through meaningful tax savings, capital structure optimization, lower interest expense, and a more balanced borrowing profile. 

His leadership has supported significant strategic transactions, including multiple term loan re-pricings, MKS’s first $1.4 billion convertible bond offering, and a 1.0 billion Euro high-yield bond issuance. In addition to his corporate accomplishments, he has contributed to the broader business community through service as President of the Tax Executives Institute, Arizona Chapter, and as a member of its board. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
