Jonathan Lam is the CFO for the Institutional Securities business at Morgan Stanley. His team provides financial controllership, forecasting and management reporting to the Firm’s Fixed Income, Equities and Investment Banking businesses. He is also the co-MD sponsor for the Finance Asian Network. 

In his 20 years at Morgan Stanley, he has focused on leveraging technology to provide higher quality and more frequent insights to aid business decisions and building high performing teams through organizational and people transformations. His experience working in New York and Asia helps him run a global organization that brings collaboration and connectivity to deliver leverage and consistency across the team.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jonathan worked in the consulting practice at Ernst & Young. Jonathan earned a BSE in Computer Engineering and a BA in Economics as well as a Masters in Accounting from the University of Michigan. He resides in New York City with his wife and his dog, Ruff Justice, and he can be found most weekends on the West Side Highway on his road bike.
