Diana Lee built Lunar NYC - Volleyball with vision, tenacity, and heart. She didn’t come from a volleyball background — she built one. With no playbook and no shortcuts, Diana brought together the right

people, asked the right questions, and made the right things happen. Her leadership is rooted in the potential she sees in young women, and the strength of the community she builds around her. The vision was to create access for youth athletes.  

Generous donations from Lunar NYC gave these athletes access to a travel volleyball club.  Most of the athletes have never participated due to limited financial means.  Diana made this vision happen.  The athletes participated in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Arizona.  She hosted tournaments, training clinics and summer camps. Her leadership skills empowered others to work hard and she truly sees the value in mentoring young people.
