Brandon Ng is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Consumer Group, focusing on advising high-growth, founder-led brands across food and beverage. He was promoted to Managing Director after just one year as a Director, making him one of the fastest-promoted senior bankers in the firm’s history. Over the past 11 years, Brandon has advised on more than 30 transactions.
His experience includes landmark deals in the consumer sector, such as Tate’s Bake Shop’s sale to Mondelez, Dot’s Pretzels to Hershey, Tru Fru to Mars, and Good Culture to L Catterton. He is known for driving competitive processes that create meaningful tension among top acquirers and result in premium valuations for his clients. He is actively shaping the firm’s approach to emerging better-for-you and premium branded food and beverage companies.
Brandon has a particular passion for supporting Asian-founded brands and has advised companies such as The Only Bean and Fly By Jing on a pro bono basis. He remains committed to increasing representation within the industry and mentoring the next generation of Asian American professionals pursuing careers in finance.
