Alpa Inamdar

Transformation Leader, AIG

Alpa Inamdar oversees large strategic transformational initiatives impacting investments, operations, claims, and underwriting at AIG..She has successfully managed high-performance global teams of over 1,000 individuals across operations and businesses. 

Alpa was previously Global Head of the Third-Party Governance Advisory Group at BNY Mellon, and has served as Vice President and Chief of Staff in the Regulatory and Tax Operations division at Goldman Sachs.  

Her awards include Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business in 2021, and at AIG, she is an executive sponsor for the NY Asian ERG. Alpa is the President and program creator for Women Helping Women, mentoring young college women in jump starting their careers within the financial industry

Alpa has completed a Board Readiness Program at Stanford University, and holds a SIFMA Securities Industry, Business, and Finance certification from the Wharton School of Business. She has an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from California State University.
