Will Hicks serves as the Head of Global Retirement Products & Services at FIS, leading the strategy, innovation, and execution of the company’s Retirement solutions. With over 20 years of experience in financial technology and retirement services, Will is responsible for driving product, service excellence, and market growth to support FIS’ diverse client base, which include recordkeepers, plan sponsors, and financial institutions.
Will has a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation initiatives, scaling product organizations, and driving business impact. His expertise spans product strategy, enterprise transformation, technology modernization, and operational leadership, with a strong focus on optimizing retirement platforms for scalability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Will leads a global team across product, services, and delivery, ensuring that FIS’ Retirement offerings remain at the forefront of industry innovation. His responsibilities include P&L accountability, strategic product development, enterprise migration programs, client engagement, and cross-functional execution. He is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and AI-driven insights to enhance retirement solutions and deliver measurable outcomes for clients.
Since joining SunGard in 2006 (later acquired by FIS), Will has held a series of senior leadership roles. His tenure includes serving as Vice President of Enterprise Transformation, Head of Strategic Client Relationships, and Vice President of Client Success Operations, where he led major initiatives to optimize FIS’ Retirement solutions and spearhead large-scale migrations.
Prior to FIS’ acquisition of SunGard, Will played a critical role in software implementation, client technology services, and operational efficiency, ensuring seamless service delivery for financial institutions. He also served as a Staff Sergeant (SSG) in the U.S. Army, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills that continue to shape his career in financial services.
