Mahesh Krishnamurti is a global business leader, board director, executive advisor, and coach who helps leaders navigate complexity with clarity, sound judgment, and confidence.

Having lived, studied, and worked across Asia, Europe, and North America, he brings a uniquely international perspective shaped by leadership roles in multinational companies, high-growth ventures, and boardrooms facing significant transformation. He is known for his ability to quickly build trust, read a room, connect diverse perspectives, and help senior leaders make better decisions during periods of growth, disruption, and change.

Mahesh served on the reconstituted Board of YES Bank, one of India’s largest private banks, where he helped guide the institution through a successful turnaround. He also spent 13 years leading operations across India, the Middle East, and Africa for a Nasdaq-listed global consultancy, driving sustained growth while building strong, values-based cultures.

Today, Mahesh is Founder and CEO of Thought Leadership Capital, where he advises boards, CEOs, private equity and venture-backed companies on leadership, governance, growth, and the thoughtful integration of AI. He also works closely with a select group of senior leaders experiencing significant inflection points in their careers and businesses, serving as a trusted coach, mentor, and sounding board as they navigate growth, leadership challenges, and increasing complexity.

His work emphasizes a human-centric approach to AI implementation—helping organizations harness technology while preserving trust, judgment, ethics, and human connection. He has particular experience in financial services, technology, and professional services.

Mahesh holds degrees from the London School of Economics and NYU Stern School of Business and serves as Executive-in-Residence at NYU Stern.
