Sumakshi Vali is Senior Managing Director and Market President at Webster Bank, leading the retail banking center network across Connecticut since 1996. She balances immediate branch performance with Webster’s long-term vision, focusing on diverse communities and financial empowerment.

Before banking, Sumakshi worked as a Biochemical Analyst in India. She holds a Master’s in Biochemistry (with honors) and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from Panjab University and speaks multiple languages.

Passionate about mentorship and community service, she has volunteered for decades with Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut and Junior Achievement, tutoring youth and immigrants in English and financial literacy. Sumakshi has served on several nonprofit boards, advocating for literacy and civic leadership.

She was honored with the 2024 Asian Leadership Award by Profiles in Leadership Journal. Sumakshi values shared leadership, considers raising her twin boys a top achievement, and enjoys adventurous hobbies like skydiving.
