Shruti Patel has over 20 years of financial services experience in banking, payments, and fintech, holding senior roles at U.S. Bank, Shopify, JPMorgan Chase, and American Express. She is currently Chief Product Officer for U.S. Bank’s Business Banking Segment, leading a 1,500-person team delivering integrated banking, payments, and software solutions for business clients up to $50 million in revenue. In under two years, Shruti transformed the product portfolio, reversing revenue decline to growth—earning #1 ranking in SBA loans in California—and launched innovative deposit and payments product bundles.

Before U.S. Bank, Shruti led partnerships and monetization at Shopify, building one of the largest payments partner platforms with 300+ partners across 150+ markets. At JPMorgan Chase, she managed digital payments products and major partners like Stripe, Apple, and PayPal, co-authoring five patents in digital card innovation. She spent 11 years at American Express driving strategy and growth, achieving $1.5 billion in new volume and $100 million in cost savings.

Shruti was named among American Banker’s "Most Influential Women in Payments" (2023) and Women We Admire’s "Top 10 Women Chief Product Officers" (2025). She serves on advisory boards including 9Yard Capital and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Shruti lives in New York City and enjoys football and tennis.
