Rashmi Badwe is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Wealth Management at TIAA, a Fortune 500 financial services firm with $184 billion in assets under management and nearly $2 billion in annual revenue. With over 25 years of experience, she excels in driving growth, transformation, and technology innovation across product management, investment management, sales, strategy, and operations.
Known for data-driven decision-making and transparent leadership, Rashmi leads TIAA Wealth Management’s strategy, P&L, and growth plans. She oversees the Chief Investment Office, Wealth Products, Trust Company, Broker Dealer/RIA, Wealth Operations, and Business Enablement, while spearheading technology transformations to improve client and advisor experiences. Since joining TIAA in 2007, she has held multiple leadership roles, including managing Retirement, Banking, and Brokerage operations with $80 billion in annual transactions and 1,800+ employees. Prior to TIAA, Rashmi worked at JP Morgan Chase, leading top-ranked revenue growth in consumer banking, and began her career at Deloitte Consulting.
Rashmi serves on several TIAA boards and employee resource groups and is a member of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women. She holds BE and MS degrees from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and an MBA from NYU Stern. A FINRA-registered representative and principal, she lives in New York City with her husband and enjoys traveling and visiting her college-aged daughter
