Bank of America

Hong is President of Bank of America Houston, where she drives integration across eight lines of business, connecting clients, teammates, and communities to the full power of the franchise. She also leads efforts to advance economic mobility and build strong communities through the bank’s resources.
In addition, Hong serves as Southeast/Southwest Division Executive for Bank of America Private Bank, overseeing Private Bank offices across Southern states to deliver financial solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients and related institutions. Hong began her financial services career in the early 1990s and took on her first leadership role in 1999. She joined Bank of America in 2010 in a leadership position.
Born and raised in Beijing, China, Hong earned her bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science from Florida State University. She has been recognized with awards such as Houston’s Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal and Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance by American Bankers. Hong serves on the boards of Greater Houston Partnership and Central Houston Inc., chairs the Bank of America Charitable Foundation in Houston, and is a member of the bank’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council.
