John Wang, Founder and President of AABDC, Named One of City & State’s 2025 Asian Trailblazers

New York, May 5, 2025 — The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) is proud to announce that its Founder and President, John Wang, has been named one of City & State’s 2025 Asian Trailblazers, an honor that celebrates outstanding Asian American leaders who are driving change and making lasting contributions across New York.


This prestigious recognition spotlights John Wang’s decades-long commitment to empowering Asian American entrepreneurs, building bridges across communities, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Under his leadership, AABDC has become a leading voice advocating for the visibility and economic advancement of Asian Americans in business and public life.

Launched in 1994, AABDC has played a pioneering role in advocating for Asian American business interests and spotlighting leadership through initiatives like the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Awards, now in its 23rd year. John Wang’s selection as an Asian Trailblazer underscores the organization’s long-standing impact and the power of community-led change.
