Vincent Lin

Director / Executive Producer, Valiant Pictures, LLC

Taiwanese-American Vincent Lin got his start in film as a Production Assistant on Michel Gondry music videos including the Kanye West video “Heard 'Em Say” featuring Adam Levine, and on Steven Spielberg’s Munich. He worked on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Dateline NBC, as well as commercial production company Smuggler.
In 2015, Vincent partnered with Executive Producer Matthew D’amato and founded Valiant Pictures, now one of the fastest growing minority-owned commercial production companies in New York City. From 2020 to 2021, Vincent served as executive producer on Academy Award qualifying short film In France, by director Em Weinstein, which won the Grand Jury Award at Outfest ’20 and Slamdance ‘21. In 2020, Valiant worked with the NYC Department of Health on all COVID-19 related Public Service Announcements from radio, print, digital, and TV. The campaign spread awareness, crucial information, and guidance for all those affected and saved lives, and is the most important campaign Valiant has ever produced.
Vincent directed several award-winning short films that have screened at prestigious festivals and garnered millions of views online. He has directed national commercials for Pepsi, Mtn Dew, Google, Sam Adams, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Denny’s, L.L. Bean, Midori, as well as produced a Super Bowl XLVII commercial for Labatt Blue.
