Vipin Gupta is Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at Toyota Financial Services (TFS). He oversees a broad range of business functions: Toyota Payments, Kinto Mobility, Corporate Strategy, Research and Innovation, Enterprise transformation, Operational excellence, Workplace services, Information technology, Cybersecurity and TFS Academy.
Toyota Financial Services offers financing, leasing, insurance, auto protection, remarketing, subscriptions, payments and banking to Toyota and Lexus dealers and customers. TFS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation.
In his 30+ year career, Gupta has mastered the art of harnessing the power of digital to rapidly reshape large financial services businesses into new digital business models. He has rapidly transformed Toyota Financial Services into a multi-brand digital company to drive growth, by expanding from a captive finance to a mobility finance platform business for multiple brands beyond Toyota and Lexus.
Before joining Toyota in 2018, Gupta served as Executive Vice President and CIO at KeyBank, for Consumer, Commercial and Private Banking businesses. Earlier in his career, Gupta was a partner at Ernst & Young (later Capgemini), and led e-business transformation for top financial services institutions like JPMorgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America.
