Tiara Chesmer-Williams is Vice President and Head of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity at Moet Hennessy. In this role, Tiara punctuates Moet Hennessy’s commitment to building a deeply inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace by collaborating across the organization to develop and lead clear strategies, programs and processes that align with the organization’s business strategy and accelerate IDE actions and results. Tiara works closely with LVMH Inc., to ensure that our principles and practices are consistent with those of the LVMH Group, and serves as a member of the MH Global DE&I Leadership Committee, leading MHNA in the implementation of a Global Action Plan.
A Bi-racial woman who, from humble beginnings, went on to working with ultra-high net worth and now luxury clients, Tiara has within her a diversity of thought and experience that has made IDE her passion and mission. Most recently Tiara is was a Vice President and Diversity Officer at Morgan Stanley – Wealth Management. In this role, she was responsible for providing internal leadership on systemic IDE issues, ensuring accountability for inclusive excellence through the implementation of strategic diversity initiatives, programming, and activities. She excels in strategic partnering and used her relationships to plan, recruit and build a diverse leadership pipeline. Tiara developed and supported Morgan Stanley’s diverse population by coaching, diagnosing and resolving organizational challenges.
Tiara is a passionate mentor who loves developing talent at all levels. At Morgan Stanley she recruited four diverse senior executives and implemented several inaugural partnerships for the company, including with HBCU organizations, the Black Wealth Summit and Culture creators, to name a few. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Tiara worked at Blackstone, a leading global investment firm in New York, NY for over eight years.
Tiara attended New York University and City College and graduated cum laude with a degree in Finance and Business Management. Tiara has also obtained a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. She is an active member of the Association of Black and Hispanic Business Students and sits on the Council for Inclusive Excellence.
Tiara spends her spare time working with Politiscope - A non-partisan app democratizing the political landscape and decorating homes and spaces with the interior design business, True Dwellings, LLC. Beyond that, Tiara is a huge foodie, basketball, and football fanatic, loves to travel and relishes time with her super tight-knit family.
