Executive Director, Pfizer Inc
With over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, Richard (Ruey-ching) Hwang is the Executive Director of Strategic Operations and Management in Global Clinical Supply (GCS) at Pfizer.
Richard was also the Head of Clinical Supply Operations as well as the Head of Clinical Supply Manufacturing. Prior to joining Pfizer, Richard was employed at Pharmacia, G.D. Searle and Mallinckrodt.
Richard has a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Taiwan National University, and a Doctorate degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa. Richard also holds a master's degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA. Richard has a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and three book chapters, as well as presented. Richard sits on Pfizer’s Global Asian Alliance (GAA) Enterprise, Colleague Resource Group leadership team in support of advancing Pfizer’s DE&I efforts.
