Christopher D. Yu

Senior Vice President, Digital Transformation, U.S. Bank

Christopher D. Yu leads digital transformation at U.S. Bank as a senior vice president of digital marketing and technology. In his role, Chris leads large scale MarTech Transformation for the enterprise across B2C and B2B businesses.


He began his career at the New York hedge fund D.E. Shaw and its dot-com spinoff, Juno Online Services, where he created the company’s e-commerce program in the late 1990s. His other roles include building the first website for the Dr. Phil show, The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and at Publicis Groupe.


Christopher’s writing has been published by The New Republic, The Paris Review, and Oxford University Press. He lives with his wife Alessia in Chicago and likes to travel, read, watch international films, and attend classical music concerts. He has a B.A. and Ph.D. in English literature from Yale University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Virginia.
