Betty Mah is a Managing Director and Global Head of Relationship Management in Citi's Markets Division. With over 40 years of experience at Citi, she coordinates relationship management coverage for the bank's largest global clients, ensuring alignment and consistency across regions.
Betty joined the legacy entity Salomon Brothers in 1979 after earning her MBA from Harvard Business School. She spent 25 years in Fixed Income Sales before transitioning to Business Administration in Sales Management and then Relationship Management. In October 2021, she was appointed to lead the Global RM teams across NAM, EMEA, and APAC.
A strong advocate for women and diverse groups, Betty is a founding senior co-sponsor of the NAM Markets AAPI committee and a member of the Global Asian Heritage Diversity Steering Committee. Betty has served on the Citibank Canada Board as a member of the Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee since March 2022.
A life-long New Yorker, Betty graduated from Barnard College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Economics. She resides in NYC with her husband and has two sons.
