Ada Cheng is the Corporate Treasurer of PepsiCo, Inc. Ada joined PepsiCo in 2003 at the Purchase Headquarters and has since assumed multiple roles globally in London and Shanghai. She became PepsiCo Treasurer in 2021.
She chairs the Corporate Cash Investment Committee, Pension Investment Committee and Art Committee overseeing combined asset value of over $30 billion.
Ada’s parents were immigrants from mainland China who moved to Hong Kong. Ada was born and raised in Hong Kong. She finished her accounting and finance business administration degree at the University of Hong Kong.
In 1994, Ada started her banking career as one of the Executive Management Trainees at HSBC. She obtained her International Masters in Business Administration (IMBA), graduating from the University of Chicago and earned her CFA Charterholder in the early 2000s. She started her investment banking career at Merrill Lynch in Debt Capital Markets. During her spare time, Ada enjoys traveling and experiencing international cultures with her family. Ada is married to a British artist and restorer. They have two daughters.
