John Wang
Founder and President
Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC)
In 1994, John Wang founded the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) in New York City to assist Asian American small businesses to expand their businesses into the mainstream marketplace by utilizing public and private sector resources available and to breakout of isolation within their own communities which limited their potential to grow.
AABDC serves as a bridge between Asian American businesses and the broader corporate sector, advocating for increased representation in leadership roles and economic equity for minority-owned businesses. AABDC’s flagship event, the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award Gala, recognizes the achievements of Asian American professionals across the U.S.
