David H. Ly

Founder, CEO & Chairman of the Board of Directors, Iveda Solutions, Inc.

David Ly is the visionary leader and founder of Iveda, serving as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors since the company’s inception. He also served as President until February 2014. David has over 20 years of experience in wireless data, cellular, IT, and cloud video surveillance. He was only 27 years old when he founded the company in 2003 and built a pioneering cloud video hosting and real-time surveillance infrastructure. David’s major accomplishments include raising over $12 million through angel investors, building enterprise-class cloud video and IoT platforms, taking the company public, and acquiring a security technology company in Taiwan.
Previously, David had a successful career in sales and applications engineering with Metricom, Inc, Nextel Communications, Door To Door Storage, and T-Mobile USA. David received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in International Business from San Francisco State University in California.
